Grout-free Surfaces
Low Maintenance Are you tired of scrubbing nasty tile grout? If you’ve ever had tile on your shower walls or floor, you know what a struggle it is to keep the grout lines clean of black and moldy spots. Not only is tile grout difficult to keep clean, but water can penetrate the grout and get behind the tile. This can lead to mildew and water damage, necessitating thousands of dollars in repairs. Tyvarian surfaces, however, won’t ever require sealing, are grout-free and are impervious to water, mold and mildew.

FAQs

  • Standard thickness for cultured marble is ¼”. This thickness makes for durable wall panels that can easily be cut to any size for installation. Our cultured marble shelves are ½” and ¾” thick, including the gel coat on patterned options.

  • While you technically can install panels over tile, Tyvarian strongly recommends doing a full tear out. We recommend all of our customers have their shower/surround at the drywall stage when we come to install.

  • We think so! Tiles create grouted lines that attract residue and are difficult to clean. Tyvarian’s shower panels are grout free – we install using 100% silicone on any seam to ensure that no water can seep through. This creates an easier to clean, better sealed surface.

  • Yes! Shower panels can be adjusted to fit any bathroom needs. While we recommend having professionals install them, they can be done yourself.
